English Foxhound
The English foxhound is a stouter dog than his American foxhound cousin. Males are about 22 to 25 inches tall, and females average an inch shorter. Weights range between 55 and 75 pounds (25 to 34 kilograms). The coat is short, dense, hard and glossy. Colors include black, tan, and white (hound colors), or any combination of the three. Yellow or tan may also appear in the coat, combined with white.
